Once you reach your 6th Year in Hogwarts, you start to get used to all the shit.
Or he’s just so broken at that point, that he doesn’t care any more
or maybe it has more to do with the fact that in the first gif they were scared shitless of a goddamn troll in the school, while in the second they were simply leaving the fucking hall after dinner
Anonymous asked: Why did you stop eating "clean"?
Because avoiding “unhealthy” foods at any costs isn’t good for your mental health, and since mental health and physical health or usually directly linked, being a “health freak” can actually make you unhealthy.
People who suffer from orthorexia can actually often suffer from many nutrient deficiencies, and/or become underweight because of their fear of eating things that aren’t “clean foods”.
If my friends served fruit salad to snack on during a movie night, I’d happily dig in, but since it’s usually popcorn and crisps, I’ll just as happily eat those; just like most healthy-minded and healthy-bodied people do. :)
You shouldn’t be scared of food! And if you are, then you need to get help to recover from that fear. xx
Anonymous asked: Since you stopped eating 'clean' how many calories do you think you eat to maintain? Xxx
I honestly can’t exactly say since I don’t ever use calorie counters anymore, but I definitely eat more than when I was eating a “perfectly balanced 2000 calories a day”. So yeah, at least 2000, and probably more than 2500 on most days.
For example, today I had:
- very small glass of orange juice
- 1.5 small apples from the garden
- like 8 slices of baguette with homemade plum jam
- a small bag of lays crisps
- a big bowl of Hokkaido-carrot-potato soup with 3 slices of baguette
- a meringue with dark chocolate drops from the bakery (heavenly yummm)
- 2 small servings of salad with dressing
- 5 slices of grilled zucchini (with olive oil and herbs)
- about 1.5 cups of vegan risotto
- freaking loads of homemade potato salad. it was so good. unff. (so a good 2 or more cups I think)
I started my period today which, in hindsight, explains why I craved so many starchy carbs hahaha. I can’t be bothered to try and figure out the calories in everything but it seems like a pretty usual amount. xx
Anonymous asked: Hey cat! I found your blog and I love it! but I do have a question or two... recently I have lost a lot of weight, close to 15 pounds, unintentionally. I am now below 100, almost 95, and I'm getting kind of concerned. I've been trying to eat more but I feel sick whenever I do. My parents know about it, and I think they're trying to help, but I'm worried and I still don't think I'm eating enough. Do you have any suggestions, or tips, that could help me? Thank you so much!
I’m sorry to hear that you’re struggling with getting healthy again, but I do indeed have some tips :)
Appetite loss can often be linked to physical illness, so it’s a good idea to see your doctor to make sure it’s nothing serious. It can of course also be linked to mental illnesses such as anxiety or depression, so I highly recommend you see a therapist or counsellor if you think you might be struggling with something along those lines.
Another very common cause of unwanted weight loss or loss of appetite is STRESS. Try and get into a healthy eating routine that works with your daily schedule. For example, if you rush through your day without time for a proper lunch, perhaps you could bring a tasty sandwich to eat on the go, along with some energy-rich snacks. Even better would be to make sure you have some time to sit down and eat a good lunch in peace!
Also, check out the post titled “But I’m not hungry!” under the links on my blog. It should be useful :)
And finally, if you have any suspicion that you might have an eating or feeding disorder, please speak to someone you trust, and/or a health professional about getting help for it. Although weight loss and appetite loss are not always linked to eating disorders, they can actually sometimes develop into one. It’s more common when people intentionally diet, and then slip into restricting or binging, but even in your case it’s something I’d be wary of.
Sending you a big hug and lots of luck! :* xx
Anonymous asked: Hi Cat! I was wondering what that website you always recommend was? It's the one about why eating 3000 plus calories is the way to go. Much love, thanks! <3 <3
That’s youreatopia.com :) The recovery guidelines are called the Minnie Maid guidelines, and are explained in detail on the website :) Lots of love! xx
